Next up in my series of comfortable and stylish tops is the Bryant Dolman top by Straight Stitch Designs. I think I have at least 4 (maybe more!) dolman top patterns, and yet, I was so excited to test this pattern. I just love a good dolman and am excited to share with you the two tops I made during the test.

The first top I made is in a navy cotton lycra. The Bryant top is cut on the bias, which provides a little extra drape for the cotton lycra. This top is a wide boat neck and has cuffs on the sleeves. There is also an optional long sleeved version. I am just so excited for Spring so all my tops are short sleeved. I wore it with one of my favorite skirts, which is a corduroy mini from J Crew.

My next version is the Sunshine Garden print in a cotton lycra from Smoogie. It is a bright fun print that is perfect for Spring. It has some cute turtles and birds mixed in with the flowers. I plan to wear it the zoo with the kids this spring. Immediately after this photo session, I wore it while working in the garden, and it was the perfect gardening shirt as well. The girls loved the print so much that I made one a pair of shorts and the other a pair of panties with the scraps.

I made a size zero, and due to my short height, I took 2 inches off the bodice. This pattern is a great loose-fitting and comfortable top. It also was a very fast to make.
